Question / Help Live Gamer HD and Pixelation?

Hey guys,

First off, loving the software. It works pretty much perfectly, but I'm having trouble figuring out the right setup for my streaming. I'm using the Live Gamer HD and streaming at 1080p and am seeing a lot of pixelation.

My current settings:

Scene:
- Global Source: Live Gamer HD Capture Card (audio disabled) @ 1080p
- Global Source: Logitech C615 Webcam @ 480x260 resolution (to fix the crackling audio issue)
- Global Source: Image
- Global Source: Text
- Global Source: Text

Video:
- 1080p @ 60fps
- 1800kbps upload
- 2200kbps buffer
- Veryfast

I'm wondering, does the "very fast, slow, slower, etc." do anything when using a capture card? Also, I see for 720p people recommend 1500-1700kbps for upload. Mine, for 1080p, is just a little more. Think maybe bumping that up to 2200-2500 might be ideal? I have ~9000kbps upload according to testmy.net/upload.

Here is an example video of the pixelation: http://www.twitch.tv/snowgoon13/c/2318952

That bitrate is way too low for 1080p 60fps, even for 1080p 30fps. You need at LEAST 3000kbps if not more to have it look okay.

Oh and yea the presets still work with capture cards, capture cards are just the input. But they wont really help you with that bitrate.

I figured as much; just wanted to be sure first as these settings were perfect for 720p. I'll give that a go and see how it helps. Thanks a bunch :)

yep 1080/60fps is just doubling the frames to get 60fps since LGHD only supports 1080/30 input (1080/60 pass trough).

LGHD supports 720/60 input so try to stream 720/60 instead with like 2000-3000 bitrate
