Question / Help Little bit too small streaming screen and lagging

Hello
I'm fairly new to the OBS, especially when it comes to streaming. I tried to make one stream on YT and after finishing it, urns out the screen was a tad bit too small for people to watch. It also seemed to randomly lag. The output resolution is calibrated for my monitor, so what seems to be the problem?

Is that screenshot exactly how things show up on your monitor? Resolution, black bars and all?

Yes here's more precise one:

You can crop your capture source by holding alt and dragging the bounding box. That will allow you to remove the black border around the actual game.

Once you have the cropped down version, you can either change your canvas size to match your lower resolution, or you can resize your capture source to fill the canvas.
