Linked scenes not working (won't switch together)

So I have recently set up multi streaming in OBS and I have come across a strange problem.
I am using the stream elements version of OBS which allows me to multi stream as well as use multiple different canvases. In my case that is one 16:9 canvas for Twitch and one vertical canvas for TikTok live.

The issue is, when using a feature that allows you to link scenes together (linking horizontal scenes with vertical ones) they don't switch together and I have to change them manually.

Maybe I am not completely understanding what the link feature does but from what I understand that is what it should do.

I found out that you need to make sure you title your vertical scenes differently than the ones in OBS. I went with Gameplay (Vertical) for example. Then it should work.

It sounds like your setup is right, so the issue may be how SE.Live handles linked scenes between different canvases. In the regular OBS build, linked scenes switch together as long as both scene collections share the same sources, but StreamElements’ version doesn’t always sync transitions across multiple canvases. It might be worth testing in a fresh scene collection to see if the behaviour is the same. Also try checking if both canvases are actually mapped to the same “linked” pair inside the SE.Live layout tool. Some users have reported that unlinking and relinking the scenes fixes it. If none of that works, it’s probably a limitation or a bug in SE.Live rather than something you’re doing wrong.
