Line-in Signal Sound with DJM-900nexus

Hey friends. Hope this post finds you well. I'm trying to use my DJM-900nexus as the audio source for OBS on my Macbook Pro 2012 (Mojave). OBS lists the source as an audio input, but when I select it and record/stream, all I hear is that high-pitched line-in signal during playback. How do I fix this? THANKS. (PS - A log file wasn't included because the last time I ran OBS, I didn't go this route.)

How do u get the Audio Signal from the Djm into your Mac? Rec out (cinch) or usb? If you use the Rec Out you will need an usb (or thunderbolt) Interface between Djm and Mac.
You can try this, go to your Mac Sound Settings — Input — and select your DJM.

In Obs — new source — Audio Input capture — and select default as your device.

Thanks very much, Robtiel. Pioneer just got back to me with their official "how-to" on this, which I think answers the question much in the way yours does, but a bit more in-depth, naturally: https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005324986.
