Asus Xonar Essence ST - Line in only register as mic ?

I cant select the Line in from my Asus Xonar Essence ST to be the sound OBS picks up, but I do get the option to select it among the mic options.



Long story short...

Bought a mixer "Eurorack 1832FX-Pro" I have 2 soundcards (motherboard+Asus Xonar Essence ST) and a Blue Yeti (not pro)

So have set my music program to use the motherboard, and drawn a cable to mixer into one channel on mixer.
Default sound *(game sound) comes from my Asus Xonar Essence ST rca out, and into a mixer channel.
And from Blue Yeti's headphones 3,5mm jack (1/8) I draw to another channel on mixer.

And then from mixer into my Asus Xonar Essence ST "Line In"

Then go to into OBS to see if I can set the Xonar - Line in as default sound. And there was no option to select it.
But I did see an option to select it among the microphone settings.

Not sure if I should have posted this under bug, suggestion or where it belongs.

Yea this is probably more of a suggestion than a bug. Using line in as desktop sound is possible to do, so I'll see what I can do about it in the future (in the rewrite)
