Line In as Desktop Audio

Why can't i use my Line-In as a desktop audio source? i'm currently using a work around with my digital output but i think a Line-In source for OBS can be uses as desktop audio or in my case my mixer!

Close OBS and find your profile .ini file in %appdata%\obs\profiles. Under [Audio] add InputDevicesForDesktopSound=1

When you re-open, you should be able to select Line In.
