Question / Help LGP Lite - Audio to Desktop delay to headset not stream

Hey guys,

Hooked up my LGP Lite and set the offset to 350 so it's spot on for the stream. When I select "output to desktop" it now makes a delay in the audio to my headset while I'm playing the game on my 2nd monitor.

Is there a way to get the "audio to desktop" (my headset in this case) to be in sync with the monitor in use for the game.

Streaming PS4

I.E. I want the audio in my headset to be correct while I'm playing. The offset is set so the video delay and audio delay are spot on to the viewers.

I'm struggling with this same exact issue. Still no fix sadly. :(

From what I understand of what you are talking about, there's not really a "good" way to correct it, since you are telling OBS to delay the audio. You might be able to get a work around with splitting audio, there's a page about that here: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/exclude-audio-sources-off-your-stream-or-recording.8/

To achieve what you are asking is completely different than what the guide is, but it's a good place to start, and if you mess around enough, there might be a solution.

As I don't personally own a ps4, if it's possible to send audio to your headset as well as your capture, that would be an option too. Just listen to the sound from your ps4 rather than PC, unless there are other sounds you need to hear from your PC.
