Question / Help Let's do some MATH!

Let's assume that I have a monthly usage cap of 120GB.

Let us also assume that my input resolution is 1920x1080 and the output resolution is 1280x720.

The frame-rate of choice will be 60.

The bit-rate and buffer will be 2000.

Question: How much bandwidth will I use PER HOUR?

Let's dismiss the Variable Bit-Rate for now...

FPS and resolution don't matter. All that matters is bit rate.

Assuming an average bit rate of 2000 kbps (2 Mbps), you will use:

2 megabits per second / 8 bits per byte = 0.25 megabytes per second

0.25 megabytes per second * (60 seconds per minute) * (60 minutes per hour) = 900 megabytes per hour.

At that rate, it will take you 133.3 hours of streaming to consume all of your monthly bandwidth.
