So i recently purchased the Avermedia Live Gamer HD and i started streaming . A friend said that the quality doesn't look as good as it should be. Now i am sorta confused because i bought it on ebay and maybe this guy sold it to me because it is a bad model or something . I have 2 testvideos for you guys to review (Warning contains Gore and Blood = Killing Floor Footage) .

Let me know what you think about the quality , do you think that it is normal or should it be better for a capture card stream?

I am using the avermedia live gamer hd in conjunction with OBS. Quality preset 8 . 5k Bitrate and Buffer (to get the maximum possible quality, i also ran a test to make sure the server gets all the data. it did!) . preset : very fast

looks good to me, about same as mine does, even tho i never think mine is good enough lol.

a log file would be helpful though

I am using the 32bit version , though i figured since i am using hardware capture now i could also use the 64 bit version . But i doubt that the usage of more ram would help. I have 16gb of ram.

I have 2 monitors , i hooked my capture card to my graphics card and my main and secondary monitor directly to the graphics card as well. Then i cloned my main monitor with the capture card since i dont have a splitter or second pc!

ok so basically same settings i use, but your videos look fine to me...btw we didnt need all the log files, just the most recent one lol

Just a note, you really don't want to go to 5000 bitrate when streaming to Twitch. They don't like bitrates much higher than 3500. Apparently, they've considered banning people that stream at really high bitrates. Plus, you don't really need more than 3000 bitrate for 1080p30fps anyway.

Thank you for you help , i am aware of that . I usually stream at around 2800-3500 because their servers sorta blow . I just did that to get the best possible quality for the test videos i provided in this thread.
