Like the title says, I accidently left OBS running overnight after recording gameplay for 2 hours. It kept recording till it hit about 100 GBs of file size, then it stopped recording and turned into a MP4 file that gets a codec error 0xc00d36c4 and says the file isn't playable. Is there any way to salvage the footage without a paid video repairing software? log file is also included from that day.

It's not recommended to record in MP4 for just this reason If there is a crash, some error, etc the MP4 will get corrupt and likely be unplayable or recoverable It is recommended to record in FLV or MKV for this reason, as they don't suffer from this issue
