Okay so I have used OBS for a about a year now and a lot of my games run and stream perfectly fine, Except LOL.
I have 150-173mbs download and 10-11 mbs upload.
PC hardware
asus Z97-A mobo
i5 4690K CPU
16gb of ram
Gpu's : evga geforce gtx 980Ti for grpahics
And a Evga geforce gtx 760 set solely to run Physx.
I use OBS classic and the settigns I have work really well for everything but LOL.
Encoding : Max bitrate/buffer size is 3300 - quality balance is 8 - encoder 264
Video : res downscale none - FPS 120.
Minimize network impact is on as well.
before im told to read go read forums I already did that believe me. League must apparently despise OBS because I have played with the in game settings over and over windowed, full screen, borderless, FPS limit, Quality, etc. Nothing worked I went into OBS settings played around there and didn't have to do much because it was really already optimal. But even though everything is good all squared away and I go to stream League the game FPS counter in the top right goes from 350-450 FPS to 20-55 FPS I have tried capping the game FPS at 60 and still got the same result of the FPS in game just being destroyed, as soon as I stopped the stream no matter the settings it was on it went back to running smoothly. I know for a fact this is not due to my PC hardware considering it's pretty top of the line compared to most threads I read where they run 1 gpu and it's a 660 model or later. to truly show the power of my PC I run Rise of the tomb raider at max graphics and stream it no problem easy pz little to no fps drop at all. League possibly thee least demanding game in my arsenal though just rolls over and dies for no reason I hope someone can help me with this issue and fix League for good stream wise.
Oh and I use twitch as my stream service.
