Question / Help League of Legends Black Screen! Please Help!

I've been trying to record my League of Legends games but whenever I try and record it's always a black screen. I've tried to record using Windowed mode and Game mode but neither work. The only thing that works is Monitor capture but only when League is in borderless windowed mode but I get less FPS in borderless windowed mode and the recorded video is choppy. The only programs I have running are Skype and Chrome and no other recording software is open in the background.

I've followed all of the steps and I'm now able to record in-game! BUT when I am out of game the client window itself does not appear. I've tried adding the client to both sources Window Capture and Game Capture but the window does not appear on the list under Window Capture but it does under Game Capture, however, OBS crashes when I create the source for the client under Game Capture.

Have you updated your drivers recently? If not, could you try updating them? Game capture shouldn't crash on laptops if the adapter of the game and OBS are matching

I figured out how to fix my problem with not being able to view the LoL lobby. I simply checked "Compatibility Mode" and it fixed itself. I don't think game capture was compatible with the LoL lobby, only in-game.
