So have noticed that OBS 2/4 core can not handle a capture device and stream w/o frame skips, even with low res settings. Other stream app does not have same issue and stream perfect at 60fps. Moved over to an older 4/8 core and OBS works just fine CPU utlliization is just fine and can handle it. This may have been also seen on older versions but we only just started to use new capture card. Will there be an update on setting the CPU core use? I agree the system may not be new or powerful enough, however if another stream app can handle it and has similar functions as OBS then this should be able to work too. I would have to assume there is something wrong in the module that handles capture device and preview/output which is not optimal and thus creates the choppy or skipping.
