Latest Nvidia driver making OBS recording extremely laggy.

Restart OBS and perform a test stream/recording of no less than 30 seconds doing as you normally do, including playing games, full camera or whatever you normally do.
Look in Help menu. Upload the current log file and paste the url to the log in here. Click on the Analize button to start troubleshooting common issues.

Don't know where to start.
When you do a test to figure out an issue you don't change parameters/settings mid test. You do one test, publish log, do a second test with other paramenter if needed, publish log, and so on. I didn't see you trying to capture any game, just switched between scenes.
Please check on this help guide:

Perhaps someone with more knowledge on this issues may be of more help.

Okay, I didn't know that I was not suppose to change profile after restarting OBS. I usually have one profile for recording general computer and another profile for gaming.

So what you want me to do is to choose the gaming profile first, then restart OBS, record gameplay and upload the log file?

I can confirm this and I have a 1050 Ti ... and I'm not convinced it's Nvidia's drivers ... :(

I've made a lot of videos on my YouTube channel over the past 18 months with OBS and this same video card. Due to the YouTube's ongoing efforts in the privatization of free speech, I took a specific part of my channel off YouTube and onto Odysee. My first video over there on May 3rd was recorded without a hitch. Between then and last week or so, both OBS and Nvidia released new drivers. So I update both, and now I have between 100 to 200ms of lag, resulting in audio that's slightly out of sync with the video. I can launch Windows Camera and Logitech's software and no lag whatsoever. But within 45 seconds after launching OBS, I'm getting video lag. Never had this issue before and it's hard for me to narrow down what's the culprit since OBS doesn't update nowhere near as much as Nvidia updates drivers, and I lack the free time to roll back and find the true culprit ...

Nope. I've been applying all Windows OS and OBS updates first and foremost but I seldom update the Nvidia drivers. I have a Macrium Reflect image of my drive that I'm going to restore but before I do that, below is a dump from Speccy of my system in its current state. I'll come back after my restore and post another Speccy dump of that environment (before any OS, OBS, or driver updates) as well as see if the lag issue is still present.

Just restored from my Macrium Image ... and the lag is gone! :-)

The image restored me to OBS 27.2.1 and Nvidia 511.65 ...

I made it on February 24th, 2021 ...

Ooops! Forgot the Speccy dump ...
