Question / Help Last File broken after splitting File with MKVToolNix

Hello,

i have a problem with the OBS. I record a game in 720p with the following settings:
Encoder: x264
Quality: 10
Max. Bitrate: 1000, Buffersize: 0
Use Multithread optimization, Very fast x264 CPU-Settings, Endcode Profile high,
Use CRF with CRF = 12.

So, i recorded the video and the mp4-File created with OBS is completely viewable in VLC or in Media Player from first to last frame.
Then, i mix the sound in Audacity as FLAC and with the Software called MKVToolNix i merge the mp4-Video with my FLAC-Audiofile and split the Video+Audio in shorter parts (e. g. a 45 min video in 3x 15 min).

Now my problem is: All video parts are okay, but the last one has obviously a problem. In VLC, it looks like it has the lenght of the original file (45 min), but after that 15 min, the video stopped. The Media Player shows the correct lenght of 15 min.

Because the splitted file is somehow broken, Youtube won't accept this file.

Is there any setting or trick i can do to avoid this problems?

This answer satisfies me not really.

When i record with Fraps, encode with MeGUI a mkv, then split it, it works properly.

I want to use OBS, because the hours of encoding drops out. When i use a video editor, then the editor encodes the videos again for hours...

Don't use MP4s as your recording target in OBS.

Whatever program you used to split the file is where the problem is, not in OBS.
