Hi my main monitor is 1920x1080 res and i wanted something to read chat etc so i bought 18'' 1336x768.

when i was playing cs go earlier i had like no fps drop at all and my fps was around 220 (with x264 encoding)

when i pluged second monitor my ping droped down under 100! (x264) and around 150 with quick sync (but im also experiencing crashes "QSVhelper.exe killed") Dunno what may cause the problem, im having only char and obs on second monitor :<

it shows you have 3 monitors. two on the nVidia and 1 on the onboard intel graphics. have you just tried your second monitor on the onboard? or any other setup?

Code:
WARNING: Another hook is already present
while trying to hook d3d9.dll, hook target is
unknown. If you experience crashes, try
disabling the other hooking application
This might be your issue. are you using overwolf or any other in-game overlay? maybe disable in home streaming and broadcast from steam.

I have one main monitor, second for chat obs etc and third is virual for quick sync to work.

i'm not using any other programs, i think i've reduced lags during gameplay but now im having veeery bad issue with obs crashing in like 5-10min from start, (qsvhelper.exe killed error) someone posted it might be a intel driver issue but i have the lastest drivers :<

latest drivers doesn't mean its the most stable driver, but IDK since I dont have an intel graphics as well. try NVENC. should be better quality for the bitrate.

Well i tried NVENC it was so damn good ! but after a hour the problems came up. First the obs crashed my game and itself. So i opened it again after like one minute the same. So i thought fuck its ranked game i will end not streaming but i had veird lags like freezes when my monitor turned black for like 5 sec and the audio was shutters too. I had this kind of lags in cs earlier but like 1,2 per day so it wasnt an issue but now its freezing the game monitors turns black and unfreeze after 5 secs, i thought it might be gpu overheating but GPU-Z showed me 40C so its normal i think.

My Specs Are:
intel i5-4690
8gb ram
Gtx 770 Zotac OC edition (clock 1202mhz)

Its a video recording from x264 3k bitrate 720p60fps but why the camera (i have c920) is so blurred all the time ? in other streamers its always sharp even if the game isnt :<

@edit i mean i went x264 and i think the fps lag is not as big and the quality is better.

720@60fps is typically reserved for i7's and 8core AMDs. since you can drop the preset down to fast/faster.

I use 3500bitrate for 720@60 since it is actually just about as intensive as 1080@30 (which requires 3500 bitrate).

for those two reasons is why your cam gets blurry during in-game movement.

EDIT: I wouldn't recommend dropping your preset since you only have an i5

EDIT2: you might even try 720@48fps and see how it looks. you might like it and set your bitrate to 3400. your cam will be clear and your stream will still look nice. it should be just fine for your i5

wow i thought my new i5 will be powerfull enough to stream with no problems at all heh, well i think i will try to play with lower fps

And other question, will i get better quality on 30fps ?

@edit
also if u can look at this video http://www.twitch.tv/kohan12/b/626962694

and can you tell my why the video is a little bit ahead of audio ?
lowering the fps will always raise the quality at the expense of smoothness. The encoder will spend more time on each frame so higher quality. Try 48 fps and set your cam to the same or half that. As for the av sync, you can mess with the mic audio ofset and raise the scene buffering time.

Do you think i can go 30fps720p and drop preset a bit ? from veryfast to faster ?

Wont hurt to try but if you drop it to 30fps, you can leave the bitrate how it is. or even up to 3000. should look fine since you have that room.

I love u men thanks for wasting so much time answering me haha. I got another question i now use 720p60fps with quicksync no crashes at all but what i noticed i had like 50%cpu usage playing cs go and with stream on its even 80%+ quicksync wasnt suppose to leave my cpu alone and use integrated gpu hd4600?

dont watch the stream while you play, thats just bad. dont even preview it. check the disable preview while encoding option. as for quicsync usings CPU, its gonna use a tad bit, but shouldn't use as much as x264. your game is probably using at least 30%
