Question / Help Laptop Webcam

Hello, I was just wondering if there was any way I can hook up my laptop to my desktop in order to have a webcam while streaming. All I want is to hook up my laptop to my PC somehow and have my laptops camera act as a webcam in OBS. Hopefully I explained myself correctly.

I found something on google in the past, and now I can't find it again. It said I would have to stream my webcam to a website, and add it to OBS as another Scene. But I feel like that wouldn't be the best solution.
