Hi guys,
I just started doing lives on youtube so I am a total noob but i was able to configure many things and i am sure you can help me out.
During my last live: https://www.youtube.com/live/wwvG7S20pMM?feature=share
If you see at the very start the microphone is working and it picks up my voice. The race starts at 24' and i don't speak much but when i do, the mic doesn't work.
Now if you skip to 41' you will see a bot named Alisa passing me and i comment that... and you can't hear my voice. Shortly after, as i start the last lap i am explaining how the bots will now start to push their maximum and i must be careful because they are in my wake. This time you can clearly see me talking but no voice again. Yes i know i have already reduced the zoom of the webcam.
So these are my specs:
Cpu amd ryzen3 5300U with Radeon graphics 2.60ghz and 8gb ram
As you can see this is not a normal gaming environment but it's rgt software on a bycycle mounted on a tacx neo2t trainer.
Essentially it's all handled by this laptop which runs rgt, winmediaplayer and obs.
The laptop is streaming everything through youtube and it is connected via hdmi cable to a big screen while winmediaplayer uses the headphone jack to connect to a hi-fi.
So you see i don't understand why my voice is picked up and streamed at the beginning but not later on. What puzzles me is that the room becomes a discotheque when i ride.
So how is it that the microphone doesn't work (all you hear on youtube livestream is the sounds of rgt like the bell on the finish line and the music from winmediaplayer) and how to make it work... considering if it does, it will also record the music which is coming from winmediaplayer? This is a mystery.
