I hope this is the right place to ask this question. So Im thinking about buying laptop to stream dota2 with OBS but I dont know much about hardware performance of these regarding strreaming. I know about desktop configurations but laptop CPUs and GPUs is kind of... a riddle for me.
Can someone tell me if ~750euro laptop (maybe something like this: http://www.skapiec.pl/site/cat/17/comp/ ... techniczne i know its polish but you can see hardware info pretty clearly) would be enough to stream dota2 in 720p at 60fps?
I was thinking for a while about it and there are some pros and cons. First that came to my mind was resolution issue- laptops use small resolution so imo thats a big advantage because its A LOT easier to play and stream 1600x900 than 1920x1080. On the other hand i couldnt find good CPU and GPU comparisons. I just know that laptop's CPUs are a bit worse and GPUs are much worse... Some of you may say that GPU is not that important in streaming - well, they are if you want to stream at 60fps. Why? because right now I have awesome i7 2600k and not-so-awesome geforce gtx550ti on my desktop pc and it makes me able only to stream 720p at 45fps (downscaling from 1920x1080) because of my GPU.
So... anyone can tell me more about laptop streaming and required hardware on those? :)
