Question / Help LAN Encoding

I've been messing around with various different LAN Encoding setups with various different RTMP servers and have still been running into some issues. Does anyone know if Jim has added support for a Local Streaming setting much like XSplit, where a local RTMP server is created and streamed to.

I've been having odd frame drop issues throughout the majority of the tests, I just feel that a natively integrated feature for this would be best.

You just use Livestream->Custom and put in the local credentials, then tune your settings up to whatever your LAN will support. There isn't an easy-button preset, no. There also isn't a remote-encoder app either.

On the up side, OBS is an open-source project! If you'd like to add this feature, it's pretty simple to grab the source, and the dev team are quite responsive on commits as I understand it.
If you don't know how to code and are just asking for a feature to be added to the list, there's a Feedback and Suggestions forum where a thread can be opened about the suggestion. As major development of OBS Classic has stopped at this time in favor of working on the OBS-MP rewrite, may be best to request it over in that one instead of the OBS Classic F&S forum.
