I want my stream to be watchable for everyone, even those with slower internet but I don't want to lose so much quality, atm its perfect. Problem is that if I use recommended settings for twitch (CBR and keyframe 2) my ping (I play LoL mainly) goes to 120ms... with "my" settings it's OK, ~60ms.

I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong and how to get best results.

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. The only way to reduce that is to try "minimize network impact" in broadcast settings or to lower the bit rate that you are streaming at.

The reason VBR gives you better performance is because you usually aren't streaming at that high of a bit rate with LoL, since there's not a ton of movement. However, VBR can cause issues for viewers when your bitrate usage varies up and down with high and low motion (which is why it might lag for you and viewers during teamfights).
