Hello,
I have tried to make this as thorough and concise as possible but let me know if I excluded some important information.
I recently bought a Dell G15 laptop with an i7 CPU, 16GB ram, and GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. The link to the laptop is here ( Dell G15 15.6" FHD Gaming Laptop -Intel Core i7 16GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti 512GB Solid State Drive Black G15SE-7170BLK-PUS - Best Buy ). I have a 15 day return period if I can't get this to work :).
I am trying to live stream through my Xbox Series X, with a HD60 S+ capture card.
Initially, I had a lot of dropped frames. I corrected this by decreasing the bitrate to 3750 as well as moving to 720p. Now I have no dropped, lagged or skipped frames.
The CPU usage rate is at around 8%.
I used TwitchTester and I am connected to the best server (RTT = 23ms, quality = 61).
I have plugged my computer in with an ethernet cable. I know the online internet speed tests are not that accurate but I had a 7.6mbps upload for some reference.
I turned on dynamic bitrate.
I run OBS as admin.
I have tried 30, 48, and 60FPS. It doesn't seem like there is a huge difference between the three.
It is not tremendously laggy, but it is enough for a reasonable viewer to click away.
Here is a vod so you can see what I'm talking about ( (3) Destiny test - Twitch - skip to 3:20 for gameplay), it is simply not as smooth as my tv.
In the log file it might mention I had changed bind to IP from default. That was accidental and automatic when I plugged in ethernet cable. I changed it back and it made no difference one way or the other.

I have scoured the internet, and I have no more ideas. Does anyone know what else I can try?
