Question / Help Laggy Recordings, low CPU usage

I have had an issue ever since I first downloaded OBS. I get really choppy recordings, even on low settings. I've watched numerous videos on it, but I just can't figure out how to fix this. I think my hardware is good enough, because even while recording I don't lag in games, and task manager doesn't say my CPU usage is high (Typically under 40%). You might say it's my GPU, but according to HWMonitor, my GPU only goes up to about 50%, even while gaming! Please notify me of any solutions!

You should post a log with your problem, especially if it's a laggy recording/stream type of thing. I probably won't be able to help, but others might with the log. Posting the specs would be a plus (they should be in the log too though).
