laggy recording with no errors in analyzer

Hey guys,

Seeking some help in troubleshooting as to why my OBS recordings might be choppy and not produce content that looks close to 60 fps.

I went through some steps in creating a new profile and using the settings they suggested without touching a thing and it still seems to be laggy.
I had no issues before and started having issues all of a sudden after coming back (maybe the newest update ?).

Any help would be well appreciated :).

P.S. HAGs is something I do need and I had no issues before running in parallel with it for a long time.

Try updating Advanced Scene Switcher. Looks like there's been lots of fixes since

Save some resources for the important things, only run the monitor you're capturing @ high-refresh rates, set the others @ 60HZ.
Same with this, it's not needed & can waste resources, disable it. : 22:48:08.777: Game DVR: On

Was able to try your suggestions but it did not help. One thing I noticed was that for battlefield 2042 the recording was pretty smooth at 1440p, but it was only in Kovaaks where the recording lag occurs.

Currently have no fps cap, but even with a fps cap at monitor refresh rate my recording still lags. My GPU is nowhere close to max utilization even uncapped FPS.

I know nothing about that game but a quick search & I found plenty of this slop. The source is the problem, not OBS.

So I tried many different video playback apps already, its just on one game it seems like.

I never had the same problem with that game before but I may try a clean install of my GPU.

This is the difference in recording smoothness between games. I had to degrade the quality a bit using a clip sharing site I dont pay for but it does the job for this context I think
