Question / Help Laggy Recorded Videos

Hey guys i need help with the settings in obs, im using a laptop and i mostly play old games and they run fine but when preview or record them or just record the screen they are really laggy and choppy any way to fix?
Processor : Intel (R) Celeron(R)CPU B830@1.80GHz
RAM : 4.00GB (3.82 usable)
64bit ps x64-based processor
1366x768 Resolution
Windows 10
What settings do i put to record well? Thank you.
