I am new to streaming and downloaded obs studio. I am having an issue when I stream, game is laggy and does not run smooth. I have watched a bunch of different videos and read a lot online and i still cannot figure out why it is like that. internet is 10-11 upload and bandwidth is 10000+ according to the twitch server key lookup. Computer has i7-6500U.
Graphics card- Intel Hd 520 and NIVDIA 930M. I know it isnt the best but I would think that it would still produce a good video. Thanks

Your CPU can´t encode 1920x1080x60FPS

Rescale to 720p 30 FPS

Video settings

Canvas 1920x1080
Rescale 1280x720
30 FPS
Rescale filter Bicubic

Output settings:
Do not check rescale.

I changed settings and I will give this another go. Thanks for your help, I will post another log on this thread when after I test.

Strem using CBR not VBR

If lag, mayb you can try using NVENC and encode with your GPU if your graphics card supports it.

Output settings, encoder dropdwn menu.

If not present, then your card does not support NVENC.

I can select NVENC H264 but when i click on start streaming it does not do anything. It will start the stream. Thanks for all your help.

So, unfortunately, your card does not support NVENC

Try x264 CBR 2000 - 2500
1280x720 30 fps

If lag, preset : change from veryfast to superfast.

If quicksync appears as an option: you are running OBS in your Intel HD Graphics, not in your Nvidia card.
In this case, I think you have to use game capture with multiadapter compatibility. This is not optimal for game capture
