Hey everybody,
I am completely new, so sorry for any mistakes :P
My system:
• iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
• CPU: 4,2 GHz Intel Core i7
• Graphic: Radeon Pro 580 8 GB
• RAM: 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
• OBS: different Versions – currently 21.0.3 – but the issue is also with the latest version!
• Camera: Sony alpha 6300
• Capture AJA U-Tap SDI
The issue:
can be seen here: https://youtu.be/Atr68QVNBEw
When paning the camera the video stutters/lagging in OBS, which is visible on the preview, the recorded video and the streamed video.
This effect is clearly visible on sharp vertical edges with high contrast for exaple windows/doors in the background of my scenery. However, it is of course also noticeable when having fast moving persons in the foreground.
Already tried but still having the issue:
• different versions of OBS
• Wirecast and Livestream.com seams to have the same issue
• used different shutter speed at the camera – usually 1/100 shuterspeed at 50fps which should be fine
• video looked good, when directly shown up on an external monitor
Any advise what to test next?
Would be great to have a fluent capturing for sport broadcasts.
best,
simon
