Hey there, I started playing Prey today and was attempting to stream while doing it when i found my stream was lagging horribly. At some points completely hanging and freezing. This was only happening with the game play, the camera was moving fluidly without any problems.
I noticed this form the moment I loaded into the game out of the menus.
The things i tried.
I started on 3200 bit rate, I dropped down to 2200 with no change
I cranked it up to 4200 bit rate, still no change.
I started cranking all the visual settings in the game down one by one till I was at the lowest settings, the issue was not as bad but continued to happen
I tried under nvec and x264 with little to no change between them both on different bit rates.
So far something similar to this has happened to me with only one other game Mass Effect Andromeda and I have been unable to resolve their either. All other games I do not have any other problems with including today before and after attempting to stream this game.
Stream seems to be staying steady on twitch end in terms of bit rate that is going fine and not dropping and staying at excellent.
My FPS during the game depending on settings is anywhere from 80+ to 100+ with no lag or stuttering in the game at all.
