Hey guys, i have the issue that everytime i try to stream my ping starts to jump all over the place from around 20-80 eventhough i should have enough upload speed.I tried reducing my upload all the way down to 2000 but the issue still happens however the jump isn't as much anymore. I know that i can use minimize network impact to fix this but I would like to know if there is any specific reason why this happens.

Speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4591564164

OBS Settings: Use CBR: Check
Max Bitrate: 3300
Custom Buffer: 3300
Video: 720p@30
x264 CPU Preset: fast

My Rig: 4790k
gtx 970

If you need more information let me know im really curious as to why high ping occurs with my setup

Speedtest is an unreliable barometer of upload rate for streaming purposes, because it measures burst speeds, not sustained speeds, and ISP rig their connections to give artificially high Speedtest ratings.

Post an OBS log file. If you're getting dropped frames, your bitrate is too high. I have 5Mb upload and I set 3000 bitrate and 2000 buffer. When I did 3000 bitrate and 3000 buffer, I felt occasional lag in game even though there weren't many dropped frames, so I lowered it further.

Doesn't show any problems with your upload capacity. You're encoding on Medium while playing CS:GO so you may want to change a couple things: Set the preset to something faster, like Fast or Faster, and see if the symptoms improve. The statistics show that it is working fine on Medium but I think you should try it anyways. Change the Profile back to High unless you care that your stream is viewable on older handheld devices.

If the above has no effect, I'd lower the bitrate to 2000/2000, make sure that works fine, then increase from there until you start noticing lag.

thanks for those suggestions however i already tried all of this and the lag does not happen at 1500 bitrate anymore for some reason. Maybe I'll try to reinstall OBS and see if that helps
