Question / Help Lag

Hello! So, I have a slight problem, yesterday I was live streaming on YouTube Gaming and uploaded the archive to my channel. My friend then told me that the last few minutes of the video was blurry, so I decided to search up how to not make videos blurry and therefore, I changed my settings. However, today when I decided to live stream again, Minecraft began to freeze and lag. I spent over an hour reading forum posts but none of them seemed to help me. If anything, they worsened my problems. I decided to revert all my changes but that didn't help either. Any suggestions on what to do?

When you say to downscale it, do you mean to make adjustments to the proper settings of 720p or something else?

Tried using your method, somewhat worked, but still experiencing massive lag spikes every 10 seconds or so (To the point where the game is now frozen and the only thing that's moving is my character).
