Question / Help Lag while recording locally

I am just trying to record locally and just seems to be nothing but lag. I have a decent system as shown in logs, but still lag. Any help is greatly appreciated. The logs are attached.

Your GPU cannot render frames fast enough to record them at the desired framerate. You can either lower your canvas size, scale your output, or lower your framerate.

08:08:22.438: Output 'adv_file_output': Total frames output: 3137
08:08:22.438: Output 'adv_file_output': Total drawn frames: 2386 (3156 attempted)
08:08:22.438: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 770 (24.4%)

What should I set my settings to so that I record at 1920x1080 but playing at 2560x1440?

Either build your canvas for 1080p and scale your capture source to that when building the scene, or build your canvas for your capture resolution and click the "scale to" button in the output pane to reduce to 1080p when recording. You can do it either way, see whichever works best for you.

I tend to build all my scene collections with the same canvas resolution as the game I'm playing has, but my understanding is that this takes more resources than building the canvas for the output resolution and then just resizing the sources to fit the scene.
