Question / Help Lag while attempting to Record

Good Afternoon,

I have been trying to record games for a while but in certain games such as TM2 at a better quality I have been experiencing lags. With smite the quality of the recording in not that good, and even with some indie games when I have tried to record in the past it just lags to much playing and the recording sucks.

I have a AMD Radeon R9 200 Series, i5 3470 and 16gb ram loads of available space on the pc but only c drive and 9.46 Mbps upload speed.

I keep getting high cpu values while recording.

Not sure if getting an external driver for the recorded file would help.

Any help would be great :)
Just to add to this, I have tried every single option I think is possible on obs and nothing change.

These are my 2 latest logs, not sure if it makes a difference, the bitrates are high on this one I was trying to follow a tutorial with these values but I normally have them at 2500 (not sure if it helps but more information the better I guess)

You're not using a good recording preset.

Simple output mode
Recording: quality: indistinguishable, encoder: x264 low cpu use.

That has helped, the lag has reduced a lot while playing.. my pc still freezes but I guess that is some issue with windows 10. Now that I have change this it stop recording sound, it identifies it but on the recording I can't hear anything.

One more question, why do I have to use this setting of recording. Is it just my cpu is not good enough or is there any other reason?

If you need the logs of the latest recording because of the sound issue let me know.
Thank You for your time

To add to this, I have sound when I record in the advance settings of output, but non on simple

I have sorted the sound issue, got the vlc player. So the freezes are possibly due to the processor that I got? (whenever im on obs my pc tends do completly freeze) if so I can start looking for a new one.

That was great info, thank you!
