Hi,

i recently upgraded my graphic card from 770 to 1070. After that, my in-game ping rises from 60->100-120ms in League of Legends. I didint change any setups and my internet is still the same 100/10. I tried to decrease my bitrate, but it didint really make any difference.

your ping is based on in game packets that are sent to the server then the packets come back.. The ping is how fast is can process the speeds of the packets..

you dont need to change the bitrate, also you internet speed doesnt matter when you are playing games. it is all ping based..

also you putting in a new graphics card shouldnt affect the ping.. it will help the FPS. are you should it is not your FPS not your ping?

RGB is only useful for lossless recordings. Why do you keep suggesting it to people for streaming settings?

@Spata
If you think your new 1070 is causing ping issues, have you tried switching back to your 770 to test this theory? However, if you didn't change any settings, and you haven't changed any software, I'd hazard a guess that something along your ISP routes/services changed instead, which is something you have no control over.

There was like 24hours between streaming with 770 without lag and then with 1070 with lag. So im pretty sure there have to be some kind of connection. 770 is gone so can´t really try testing it out. Maybe something with new drivers/software?

Is there some file where i could just copypaste those settings. I can't find all those settings in software directly.
There is not yet an easy to to import/export partial settings in OBS Studio. I wouldn't use those settings though. There's nothing wrong with using 30 FPS as you already are. You already have your keyframe interval set to 2. RGB is not useful for streaming. In any case, you've already said that you hadn't changed your settings and yet you've experienced a new ping issue.

If there were 24 hours between replacing the 770 with the 1070 and the ping having issues, then I'd think it's just coincidence. I'd especially think coincidence if you streamed within those 24 hours without issue.

Try running the Twitch Bandwith Test tool using a Medium Test Duration for your region with a 64k TCP Window Size, and post a screenshot of the results here.

Well apparently it was huge coincidence. My network providers upload started to malfunction in that time when i changed graphic card. It has been like that since then so now they are finaly fixing it.

Called it. ;P

Glad to hear that your ISP is addressing its issues. Hopefully everything is back to normal afterwards.
