Question / Help Lag & Ghosting

Hi, I'm trying to simply record in OBS. this hasn't been an issue in the past while using my desktop computer. However, it happens to be an issue via laptop. In 720p I have no issues. Though when I move up to 1080 I get a three second lag in everything I do on camera. As well as ghosting that follows my movements. Here is my log and laptop configuration. I know the laptop is an older one but I get the same issues with my new laptop that was purchased three months ago. Any help is appreciated

Your card doesn't support NVENC, so there's no reason to be using that test build. In any case, issues with the test build should probably be posted in the test build forum.

If your issue is with a different computer you should probably post a log from that computer, and include a streaming or recording session that includes your camera problem.

This is the system I'd hope to run it on and the log from it. So the NVENC encoding is likely causing the issue and the cpu is taking on far more than it should because of this? Which means I likely need a card that supports it.

There's no much lag here, so whatever is happening to the camera is probably happening before it gets to OBS. But I would not be surprised if that machine was more comfortable with 720p than 1080p.

The audio buffering in this log is usually a sign of a heavily loaded system, although it doesn't get that bad:

You also can't change the video card in most laptops. You're also running OBS on the integrated video card, is this intentional? Do you need display capture source(s)?

Funny you bring that up because it has no issues running 720p. It immediately starts to lag when put in 1080. Which sucks as my main priority is recording quality videos and not streaming. Also, it's not my intention for it to run on the integrated card. So I need to look into that.
