I'm having an issue with recording (not streaming) L4D2 that I didn't have before, but seem to now. The problem occurs only when I'm recording in OBS; the game intermittently freezes for between 1-5 seconds. Occasionally, this happens to just the audio, but more often, it's video and audio simultaneously. That's just in-game. In video, in addition to this, I also frequently lose a ton of frames; the screen will just freeze while the sound of what's happening continues. See below for a sample of what I mean; it happens in the tunnel and again at the end when I drop down onto the bus. I'm not sure if I have my OBS configured incorrectly or what's going on.
As you can see in the log below, it seems that it's competing with another program to record, but I don't know what that could be. I do have NVidia Experience, but I don't actually use ShadowPlay. Also, I quit out of the little system tray icon for it (though perhaps that didn't *actually* quit out of the program.)
The log below is short, I basically cut it right after the first glitch popped up (this is probably the 15th short video after trying numerous fixes that didn't work.) If you need more info, let me know. I feel like a total layman with this and I just want to get it to work.
