Question / Help Knights of Honor Black Screen, here is log

i can game capture any game i played so far except knights of honor. i dont know what the heck is the problem, why black screen... i went to help > log files > current log and this is what i got. i hope i did this right: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/5b79e1004876ed0bd9bf18d7a6c331bc

It might be a game you have to use Window or Display capture on.

i could not make window or display to work properly either. does this log give any answers to why game capture is not working>?

The log only shows that you've tried everything normally recommended (run OBs as admin, etc.).

That said OBS hooks the game, and 4 seconds later the capture attempt stops. Maybe you're hitting a hotkey? But if that was the case, why is the capture attempt stopping at about the same time lapsed (i.e. 4 seconds) every time?

You could try running the game in Window mode, and see if Window Capture or Display capture works.

just like that for no reason i cant record one of my favorite games of all time. fucking fuck.

maybe you can help with that window or display recording... when i record in window mode, rest of the screen is black, how to record window but the recording to be across the whole screen?

Post a screenshot of what you're describing, that'll help.

That said, if the game is being captured in Window mode, using Window Capture in OBS, then try making the game window as close to the size/resolution of your monitor as possible.
