hello
im about to start streaming or like trying it out. im just a little confused about some things...

1. I heard that you should have 2 monitors for optimal streaming. Do i need a good quality second screen or can i just buy a old monitor from someone else?

2.For a noob streamer what kind of obs settings should i use?i have an i3-4130 core and my upload speed is about 30 mbps and my download speed is about 100 mbps.

3. maybe this relates to the previous guestion but what encoder should i use (x264, QuickSync or nvidia nvec)?

Thanks again. Sorry to bother you all during the holidays :( have a nice day!

1. Any old monitor (that doesn't strain your eyes) will do. keep in mind that the size and resolution and hook up(s) for the monitor need to be something you are comfortable looking at/using.
2. Start with the estimator under the help menu option at the top right.
3. Depends. Given that you have a weak CPU, I would use QuickSync (if available) and if not maybe nvenc.
