Question / Help Kilobits or Kilobytes?

Hello,

I apologies in advance for this goofyness.

I didn't know whether "How fast is your upload speed? (Measured in kbps. Test at speedtest.net to the closest streaming server to you)" @ https://obsproject.com/help/estimator was measured in Kilobits or Kilobytes. Hoping somebody can help me out.

Again, I'm still quite new to this - any help is appreciated.

SpeedTest reports in megabits per second and OBS expects bitrate values in kilobits. Thus (for example) if SpeedTest shows that you have 5 Mbps of upload bandwidth that would translate to a max of 5000 Kbps in OBS.

Edit: Also, assuming you posted in the correct forum, you should update to OBS Studio. Classic hasn't been in development for quite a while now.
