Hi guys, I'm buying a JVC GC-PX100 camcorder to use as vídeo source with OBS.
So far, I read that won't be able to just plug the camera in USB and capture it as a video source, so I'll need a video capture card for it.
I'm searching for a video card and until now could not find any proved method that would work. I'm afraid to buy a capture card that won't work properly.
I almost bought a Blackmagic Intesity Shuttle for USB 3.0, but after reading about it, found out that will give me more problems than solutions.
Also, I was considering the Matrox Monarch HD, but the price "is too damn high"
Here's my setup:
I want the camcorder to have the same behavior as the C920. I'll record my screen and put the video source above it, just like any gamer stream on Twitch.
What video capture card do you recommend that surely will work with this camcorder and OBS? AverMedia will be the easiest option.
