Question / Help Just started OBS, need help!

Hello!
As the topic states: I recently started using OBS instead of Xsplit.
I need some help gettin setup with resolution etc.

Here's my computer specs:

Intel i5 2500k 3,3ghz
Geforce 560Ti 1gb
8GB ram
120 GB SSD harddrive
Net speed: 100 down/10 up

I'll be streaming Heroes of Newerth
Screen+game resolution: 1920x1080

I used the settings estimator you have which says I should be able to stream at 1080p, but I wasnt.

So I'm wondering if OCing my cpu to 4,5ghz~ would be enough to stream at 1080p or will I have to settle for 720p?¨

When I stream at 720p there is no problem at all, but I wanna go higher.
So I'm wondering if its possible if I OC'd my CPU to 4,5ghz instead of stock(3,3ghz) to go to 1080p.

Basiclly what happens when I try streaming at 1080p is I get occasional fps drops ingame, just enough to make it to annoying to play with.

I mean, I guess...It's hard to know in advance, but OCing will certainly help. You'll have to experiment with it.
