If I stream 540p60 vs 720p60 at the same bitrate of 2500kbs, is that using more or less bandwidth? Because I'm not sure if the bitrate is a constant or a threshold. My ISP has a cap of 250GB and while I don't stream that much, I want to make sure I avoid hitting that by using the right settings. Should I decide to try streaming a full playthrough of a 60+ hour game again. I already download a lot.

Will use the same bandwidth when you use CBR (Constant Bit Rate)

It's fairly constant when you use CBR.

2500 Kbps (without Audio Bitrate) are roughly 1.07 GB per hour.

Please note that Bitrate will still fluctuate a bit with CBR. Also you need to add the audio bitrate.

^ Thanks for that. I think I'm going to settle on 540p45 @ 2200kbs. One silly question though. is it kiloBITs per second or kiloBYTEs per second when encoding?
