Question / Help I've finally had enough of Nvidia Share, plz help me

So, today is the last day i bother trying to use that buggy awful piece of software,i mainly used it because it does the instant replay feature, which i believe OBS are working on for the advanced mode soon.
Anyway,i mainly use these programs for recording game play and very rarely streaming,so my question is mainly about getting the best settings for full 1080p video with low file size.

My specs are
i7 7700k
32GB of ddr4 ram LPX vengeance
a gtx 780ti GPU
and i am running windows 10 pro

I have seen the guide on the forums but it is as many there pointed out, inaccurate now

So can someone please give me the best settings for my rig and full 1080p quality but low file size.

Would really appreciate it

Dan

Use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output when in Simple output mode. In the recording section, change the Recording Quality to Indistinguishable Quality, and then select your encoder.

However, there are no "best settings." Please understand that every setup, for every use case, will be very different. Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary. Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having, but we will not give you a list of settings.

Indistinguishable quality is going to be massive file sizes , that is the one thing i do not want , i do not want a 10GB file for a 5 minute recording.

It's definitely not that big, but you should try it out and see how it works. Use High Quality instead if indistinguishable is too large.
