In the top of the window when I launch OBS it says Untitled - Open Broadcaster Software v0.622b - 32 bit

I have a 64 bit and when ever I try to record fallout new vegas for example it says I dont have the right the DirectX (DirectX 10) But I just downloaded the Direct x latest version for Windows seven which is what I have and it says that my direct X is up to date so Im wondering

1.Is it because it says im in 32 bit is that why I cant record?
2.How do I get to the 64 bit?
3.What is wrong with direct X and how can I fix it?

Please post the exact error message you're receiving. Most likely your GPU does not support DX10, even if you have the DX10 software installed. This is unrelated to the processor architecture (32 / 64 bit).

Could not intialize on Intel(R) HD graphics. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your gpu is not supported (directX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop gpu's do not support DX10)

2.) You're running windows vista without platform Update
3.) Your video card drivers are out of cate

If you are using a laptop with NIVIA Optimus or AMD switchable graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on high preformance GPU in your drive settings

Unless you have a separate video card, the one integrated into your chipset is unfortunately not powerful enough to run OBS.

I have a HP pavilion DV6.

Would there be anyway for me to fix this if not could you please tell me something similar to this software?

The fix would be getting a more capable PC. You could see if you can run an older version of XSplit maybe, but I am not sure if that will run any good. The laptop is not really meant to do anything like streaming.
