I'm making videos for youtube and sadly when I record videos they end up as .FLV and my Sony Vegas doesn't accept these type of files so each time I have to convert my files to something else like .WMV which seem to work like a charm on Sony Vegas.

But sometime the quality get worst during these converting and so I've been wondering if it is possible to actually record video into .WMV with Open Broadcaster?

I really want to be able to uses .WMV if anyone know a way please tell me.

I would generally recommend to keep it at flv for OBS, but you can remux the file to the mp4 format very fast without loosing quality. Vegas should normally be able to open mp4 files.
See here:
How to convert FLVs to MP4 fast without re-encoding

In OBS-MP you will be able to use a different encoder for your video files (actually you already can using the ffmpeg output). That way also wmv files should be possible in the future.
For vegas, make sure to record your videos at a constant frame rate (Use CFR in the advanced settings should be checked).

Thanks, I'll try that! ^^

*EDIT*

Sadly, I'm using a good old Sony Vegas 7.0 and it seem that the program has a problem with MP4 as well, I can import it, but only the audio actually show up, but the video doesn't.

I tried to do a little search about this prblem and even with the right codec and so on it's still doesn't work...

This is why I really wanted .WMV.
