Issues with Separating Microphone Audio and Capturing Bluetooth Headphone Sound in OBS (Latest Version)

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing some problems with the latest version of OBS and would appreciate any assistance or insights.

Separate Microphone Audio Recording:

Setup: I've connected a capture card to output both video and audio from my monitor screen.
Issue: I'm unable to record my microphone audio separately. Instead, OBS records the microphone sound mixed directly with the game audio.
Question: How can I configure OBS to record the microphone audio on a separate track from the game sound?
Capturing Audio from Bluetooth Headphones Connected to PS5:

Setup: I have Bluetooth headphones connected to my PS5, and I'm trying to output the sound through the capture card to OBS.
Issue: OBS does not detect or capture the audio from the Bluetooth headphones, and none of the troubleshooting steps I've tried have resolved the issue.
Question: Has anyone faced a similar problem or knows how to get OBS to recognize and capture audio from Bluetooth headphones connected to a PS5 via a capture card?
Any guidance or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Where is your microphone connected? In case you're capturing a game console and your mic is connected to the game console, the mic audio is processed by the console, mixed with the game audio then output to the capture device. In this case OBS cannot separate the audio again. In case your mic is connected to the computer where you're running OBS, see https://obsproject.com/kb/multiple-audio-track-recording-guide

The same thing as above: OBS doesn't know of headphones connected to some console. It reads audio from the capture device, and through the capture device it's not possible to transmit multiple audio channels separately. Just one audio channel generated and mixed by the console.

To enable obs recognizing your headphones/mic as separate device, so it can record them as separate tracks, the headpones/mic must be connected to the computer that's running OBS.
