Question / Help Issues Recording OBS with Sennheiser GSX 1000

Hi all. I'm attempting to stream/record 7.1 surround sound using my GSX 1000 Amp. There are two issues when I have tested recording (probably the same if I were to stream as well):
  1. There is no audio when I clicked the mp4 file to play back, and
  2. When I put the mp4 file into my video editing software (Vegas Pro) the audio is there, but it is very robotic. That's both my voice and the sound of whatever I'm capturing.
I'm not sure what to do. I can't change the bit rate because it is locked to specific amounts for this GSX 1000. I can post those rates below if desired. I'm not sure if this is an OBS issue/setting that I'm overlooking, a Sennheiser issue, or something completely different!
