Issues booting OBS without Safe Mode

Hi guys,

I'm very new to the site, I've always had help in the past with OBS issues but running on my own now and would like to learn how to maintain my software on my own

For a few months now (I stopped streaming for some time) I have been having issues wherein OBS white screens and crashes upon launch. Booting in safe mode gets it to open but I'd like to resolve the issue if possible so I could return to streaming some time

Please find below an attached copy of the crash log, and many thanks in advance for any advice/help. It is greatly appreciated

My sincerest apologies if there are any issues with my post/thread and please feel free to correct me so I may be better next time

Kind regards,

Johndom77

0. Update to the newest available Nvidia Studio driver.
1. Display, Game and Window Capture Sources interfere with each other. Never put them in the same scene (PC Gameplay 1).
2. Make sure that all of your plugins are compatible with OBS 32.2.2 and up-to-date.
3. Change the FPS on your Cam from 60 to 30.

If it's sill happening, provide a new log and crash report.

My logs also say it's the conflicting captures but it seems like a massive flaw that you can't have a webcam as well as a display capture in the same scene... that's probably the most popular set up.

Where are you seeing that you can't have Video Capture Device (webcam) and Display Capture in the same scene?

Like in your comment, same as the logs, having a display capture and window capture cannot be in the same scene. However, I reinstalled the 32.2.2 with FPS at 30 and it seems to have booted in normal mode without issue.

Hi guys,

Thank you very much for your help so far! It is incredibly appreciated that folks would take time out of their day to help

I removed the conflicting element in PC Gameplay 1 and updated the Nvidia Studio Driver

I cant seem to change the fps of my cam as the options are greyed out:

Im not entirely sure how to check all of my plugins are up to date, but I did update streamup and streamerbot

Please find attached the crash log and log file

Many thanks,

1. One of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
System (TC-HELICON GoXLR Mini): 48000 Hz
Chat Mic (TC-HELICON GoXLR Mini): 48000 Hz
SteelSeries Sonar - Microphone (SteelSeries Sonar Virtual Audio Device): 48000 Hz
SteelSeries Sonar - Gaming (SteelSeries Sonar Virtual Audio Device): 96000 Hz

What exactly is this USB Video Cam device?
