Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to OBS and streaming in general. I did however have a stream with was really really smooth and and had good enough picture quality that people watching could pick out 3-5mm details on my screen and remind me that I forgot to pick an item up etc.
However, I just got some new hard drives and my old copy of OBS became corrupt somehow. My upload speed is 4.6mbps and my bitrate is 1800 with 2000 buffer size Quality balance set to 10. Also 256 AAC for the audio settings.
Edit: i'm also streaming on twitch.tv and i'm not a partner, thus the 720 so a larger variety of people can watch
I'm window capturing Path of Exile at "Custom" with 1280x720, no resolution downscale and "disable aero on startup" box checked. I have "Multithread optimization" checked, high process priority x264 set to medium. I've checked my processor while streaming at these settings and it's never above 50%. I also stream an embedded webcam with none of the above settings changed.
My recorded bitrate while streaming is right around 1600-2000 but it seems sluggish and the quality is not where it was before. Even though according to OBS it says i'm dropping 0 frames.

I'm running a fx8350 Vishera from AMD 8g of 1600 ram, and a gtx 550Ti
Any help would be very greatly appreciated.
