Question / Help Issue with software capture

I'm trying to capture just a portion of a window on spotify so i can show What music is playing.

Any help? I can get it to stay there but not update from song to song if I just minimize spotify but obviously I want it to update from song to song.

Or does any1 have other tips for having a now playing thing up on OBS from spotify?

So, From the looks, you're trying to capture a window with aero disabled. For that work you need to have areo enabled. You can actually see it grabbing the correct location you specified if you look close enough. It's just grabbing the top most window though, which is SC2.

You can also try Snip, which grabs the currently playing song in Spotify, Winamp, or iTunes, and puts it into a text file. Which you can then use as a text source in OBS, and use that on your stream. There is a guide for that here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=925
