Issue with Audio Capture Beta and Final Fantasy XIV

Hi all,
I've been capturing FFXIV through Audio Capture Beta with no issues for some time but recently, sound coming from Audio Capture Beta sounds muffled and makes some of the sounds very loud (like footsteps and Limit breaks)

This seems to be recent as my viewers started complaining recently but I havent check when it stated happening. Will come with an update later with the date.

To temporarily fix the issue, im sending the sound to a different audio output, adding the audio output to an OBS scene and monitor that scene which forces me to keep having obs open while playing the gamee but sound is fine for now.

Any idea what could be affecting?

I just checked my previous VODs. It was working 7 days ago but stopped working by Saturday (3 days ago)
I have no intermediate vods.

Im using Nvidia Broadcast which i feel it could be affecting but my nvidia broadcast is only taking my microphone as a source and shouldnt be affecting it.

Looks like I fixed it. I just sent the game to a specific output in windows instead of "Default".

After that, I reversed the changes and added the game capture beta again.

You can close it =)

Nevermind. I didnt test it properly. The issue is still there and happens even with NVidia Broadcast closed so doesnt seem to be related.

If I enable Capture Audio Beta on the FFXIV game capture source and monitor it, I can easily hear how steps and some other sounds are really potent and muffled which is completely different to what I hear.

Help please!

I have been having specific audio issues with Audio Capture Beta giving the queue pop noise a super bass boost, and the count down timer has a unique sound effect as well. And for some reason, there is the breath like sound at random times in the FFXIV audio.
If I share a link to some clips on a Google Drive, could I ask you to check and confirm if these are similar to your issues? I would love to figure out a work around.

I might have fixed my problem! Someone let me know that FFXIV might be sending sounds to my controller, since I use a DualSense. And sure enough, I turned off this setting that was enabled in FFXIV, and 2/3 of my audio glitches are gone. I have yet to test the 3rd, but I will in battle.

That didnt work for me. Steps keeps sounding very loud. Limit Break also sounds very very loud.

The only workaround I found was sending the sound to another output and monitoring that output on my headset but thats not a good option since it adds latency and forces you to keep obs on even for playing.
